Best holiday ever!! We have stayed for 10 days with our daughter (5yrs.) and reality was even better than our most optimistic expectation. We came back 1 week ago and are already planning how to get there back soon again :) Especially I have appreciated following: - Ambience (photos could give an indication, but aren´t as impressive as reality). - Warmth of the owner (Mr. Dimitris), his family and his employees (special thanks and greetings to Elina, Manos and Hasan) - Absolutely fitness for small visitors (mini zoo, playground, donkey rides, children pool, paddling) - Beaches or rather sea suitable for small children (almost no waves) - Absolute cleanness and tidiness, including daily room service - Very reasonable prices - Bali´s ideal location for car trips through west and middle Crete Enjoy your holiday in Stone Village. Amazing Stay
I recently had an amazing stay at a beautiful hotel in Bali, Crete. The setting was stunning, nestled in the Cretan hills with breathtaking mountain views. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a lovely view overlooking one of the pools. The staff and owners were extremely helpful and pleasant, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel grounds were immaculately maintained, and there were even animals on site, which was a bonus! The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Crete.

Stone village is owned by the Klados family who have put their heart and soul into their business. Dimitris Klados with his lovely wife and children are constantly on site, looking after their guests as if they were their own family and paying attention to the last detail, all needs to be perfect. The genuine smiles and warm welcome of Manos and Eleni and the rest of the staff plus the tastefully decorated in traditional Crete style rooms, paths and pool/bar areas bring the guests into another dimension, relax the senses and helps unwind. All equipment is new, the rooms are spacious and having the kitchen in the appartment is a big advantage for those of us who do not want to eat out all the time...The children play happily in two pools while the third one is only for grown-ups and very quiet. The ice-cream bar is very popular for all ages. Food is home-made and delicious, and after a couple of raki shots we are all friends.... Manos makes the best iced coffee. The sea is ten minutes walk away, very clean and refreshing....The location is perfect for hiring a car and exploring the secrets of Crete. I have to mention specifically that, when my return flight was cancelled, Eleni, at reception, used all her connections and did not stop making phone calls until she arranged alternative flights for me.... Which I really appreciated. Thank you all for making it a holiday to remember!

Stone Village is a great place to stay. It has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. No car noise or loud pounding music. The apartments are big and clean, and has a cosy feeling because of the raw building materials used. The view of the mountains from our room was fantastic, and still the beach was only 800 meters away. Our daughter loved the kids pool area, the playground and the mini zoo. We ended up having dinner at the hotels taverna most evenings because of the good food there and the friendly staff. The family who owns the hotel and the entire staff was always smiling and very helpful, and had a real "No problem" attitude, and did all they could to make you feel comfortable. We can't wait to return.

I stayed 3 weeks in crete, first week at 5 star in Chania, second week 5 star in Sissi, and theird week here at Stone Village in Bali. Overall the Stone Village was the best. The apartments are small but clean and with character. The "village" is maintained very well with great plantlife and a little farm on site. It has a small taverna which serves basic, but very good and unbelievably cheap food and 3 swimming pools along with free internet. My tab for food and drink at the end of my stay was less here than at the other two hotels and I had half board at the other two, whereas only B&B here, yet ate in the taverna almost every night Very reasonable and friendly.

The very nice stone architecture of the houses, the warm furniture of the flats, the zoo and the kindness of the staff
Air conditioning available only in the dining room but not in the bedroom (where the provided fan was actually not enough)

I had an incredible time at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was outstanding. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the beautiful zoo and playground. It was great to see the animals and enjoy the lovely outdoor space. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the nearby beaches in Bali with a station near the complex. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed.
Can't fault the property in any way.
